We structured the film as a journey, from the original premonitions that sparked the commission, through the intricate creation process, to the object's emergence as something greater than the sum of its parts. The narration was poetic without being inaccessible, and the cinematography treated the cross with the reverence of a fine art subject rather than a documentary object.
